Peas a la Francaise
Ingredients
- 1 lb. fresh peas
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 cups lettuce coarsely chopped
- 1/2 cup onion medium chopped
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- pepper
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp water + 1/2 tsp potato starch or cornstarch
Instructions
- Combine peas, water, lettuce, onion, sugar, salt, and pepper in saucepan. Cover and bring to a boil.
- Cook 2 minutes. Add butter. Dissolve starch in water. Add and stir to thicken.
