Robert Rosenwald is the Publisher & President of Poisoned Pen Press–a book publisher that specialized in publishing mystery fiction. I was born in 1945 and am a double Gemini. I spent a year of agony at Cornell (but I did become a very fine tournament bridge player there) and then went to St. John’s College in Santa Fe, NM–not the Eastern basketball school, which is a university–but the same Great Books program as taught at the sister campus in Annapolis, MD. I then spent twenty-five years, two marriages, and at least a dozen occupations before I met my wife, Barbara Peters. It’s not clear which one of would have killed the other had we met 5 years earlier, but, as they say, timing is everything. We’ve been together nearly twenty years now and I’m still crazy about her. She’s the senior editor for Poisoned Pen Press and the force behind The Poisoned Pen, a Mystery Bookstore in Scottsdale, AZ.
